Alan
has more than 7 years of tax accounting experience. Prior
to joining the firm, he was a manager with the international accounting
firm of KPMG.
Alan
served as manager in the personal financial planning group of KPMG,
providing income and estate tax consulting. Clients included high net
worth individuals, as well as closely-held business entities and their
owners. Alan has extensive technical tax experience in the areas of
individual income taxation, estate and gift taxation, flow-through entity
taxation, retirement planning, and international executive taxation.
He also has focused on complex income and estate planning, implementing
a variety of the latest techniques, including the utilization of partnership,
trust, and charitable vehicles.
Alan
also worked on assignment in Mexico City, where he provided tax consulting
services to US executives working abroad.
Additionally,
Alans experience in preparing all types of income tax returns
assures clients that their income tax returns will be prepared efficiently,
accurately, and in the best manner to minimize a clients tax liability.
He
holds a Masters Degree with an emphasis in taxation from San Diego
State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with an emphasis in
economics, from Cornell University. He is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants, and has completed the education requirement
to obtain the Certified Financial Planner certification.
